This interactive session features replicable strategies employed by the private sector: Employee Resource Groups, Education and Leadership Training. Le Nette Rutledge

Military Talent Programs Manager at Wells Fargo

Le Nette is the Veteran Initiatives Programs Leader.  Her team is responsible for delivering military talent programs that lend to the company’s significant 2020 quest to have 20,000 Veterans select, stay with and succeed within Wells Fargo.

 In her previous role she served as a Learning & Development Sr. Consultant within Functional Learning and Instructional Design (FLID).   In that capacity she facilitated courses/programs and provided leadership coaching that reinforced Wells Fargo’s vision, values and goals for team members across all levels of the organization.  In 2018, she facilitated Wells Fargo/ Jennifer Brown Consulting, LLC's three day leadership course for employees with disabilities, co-led by C5 Consulting, LLC (Katherine McCary, Martha Artiles). Wells Fargo has a similar 3 day leadership course for veterans.

Le Nette joined Wells Fargo in 2009.  Prior to that, she served as a leader of learning teams for Fortune 500 companies to include QVC, Inc.; Lowe’s Companies, Inc. and Family Dollar Stores, Inc. 

Le Nette served in the United States Navy for ten years.  Her specialties included Naval Instructor, Naval Recruiter and Anti-submarine Warfare.  She holds a B.A. in political science from Norfolk State University and Lean Six-Sigma green belt, Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) as well as various career, life and executive coaching certifications.  

Her ‘why’ in life is “…to courageously and compassionately impart excellence in every life, place and situation” presented to her.  Her Top 5 Talent Themes are:

When she is not volunteering at the Brian Center (a nursing and rehabilitation facility in Gastonia NC) or running on the hiking trails at the Whitewater Olympic Center, Le Nette relaxes by attending/watching Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) events.
